Alessandro leads the legal oversight and support for approximately 70 affiliated entities across the EMEA and APAC regions, ensuring compliance with not only local and international laws and regulations but also strict adherence to division-specific rules and regulations. He provides strategic legal guidance to senior management on significant corporate initiatives, and complex international legal matters, contributing to informed decision-making and risk mitigation. He has spearheaded the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices across the division. He also directs and manages external legal counsel across various jurisdictions to address specific legal challenges efficiently and cost-effectively.
Elke Baumann joined Novartis in 1998. Since joining Novartis, Elke has held various leadership positions in United Arb Emirates and Switzerland. Today, Elke is leading Novartis’ enterprise-wide Ethics, Risk and Compliance related awareness and training program by embracing role-relevant, risk-based and innovative approaches to training. Furthermore, Elke and team are developing change management strategies on ERC’s enterprise-wide projects like Novartis’ new Code of Ethics. ore than 25 years of industry experience, in various commercial and compliance related roles, across different geographies enabled Elke to understand the challenges organizations face, when operating across diverse cultures and the importance of ethical business practices.
Cesar has strong experience in audit, finance and corporate governance. Before his current role as Group Audit COO at Zurich, he served as Cluster Leader Finance & Business Transformation at Tetra Pak (and previously as Audit Director and Corporate Controller in this company). He has given many keynote presentations at GRC, Audit and Risk events.
Global Assurance" is the Governance, Risk and Compliance function of the Oriflame Group. As Head of this function, directly reporting to the CFO and Audit Committee, Nicolas is responsible for the overall the Risk Management strategy, as well as the Compliance & Business Ethics, Corporate Security, and Occupational Health & Safety scopes.

Mark is Chief Audit Executive at Amcor which includes being chairman of the financial disclosure committee and chairman of the ESG regulatory reporting committee. Previously he was CAE of Selecta , VP Internal Audit at Carlsberg Group and senior Audit roles at Heineken. He also served as board member at the IIA NL.
As legal counsel with more than 12 years experience in data privacy and the pharmaceutical industry, she has a proven track record of giving legal advice on privacy-related matters as well as drafting and negotiating international contracts (e.g. license agreements, marketing and distribution agreements). Outside of work, she is passionate chorister and classical music enthusiast.
Richard has over 20 years experience in sales and account management, specifically in the Governance, Risk and Compliance space, understanding the challenges and needs of highly regulated organizations and guiding them through the complex process of finding the right solution to help achieve their GRC objectives on an ongoing basis.
