Alfredo is a Spanish lawyer who joined the world of Indirect Taxes over 17 years ago. He is strongly focused on tax technology, tax transformation and business processes optimisation has conducted his professional career both in Spain and UK, combining different roles (mainly Automotion and Pharma). He is employed by Sandoz as Global Head of Indirect Tax, also chairs the European Tax Technology committee at TEI.
Lorraine is a qualified CPA accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser; she is currently living in Amsterdam & was employed as Associate Manager with Stryker before being promoted to her current position, Senior Manager, OUS Indirect Tax Compliance at Stryker. She qualified as a CPA in 2008 and CTA in 2010. At the time, she worked for Cogent Taxation Group where she trained as a tax consultant & worked for 8 years.
Roger has over 30 years’ experience working as an SAP VAT architect and SAP Solution architect to large multinational companies such as, Philips NV, Essent Trading International, Shell NV, Meridian Global VAT services etc. He has acquired strong experience in international VAT, SAP, understanding business requirements and working with VAT automation solutions to translate highly complex business requirements into sustainable, future proof tax technology solutions.
Nicoletta has 17 year's experience in taxation. During the last years she has been handling strategic projects aimed to VAT optimization including customs procedures or managing e-commerce business set up. She used to be the key person for the IT department in order to improve and keep in control the ERP system with regard to VAT and Customs rules implementation.
Gorka Echevarria, the Global VAT Lead at Lexmark, is based in Geneva, Switzerland. He was previously the EMEA VAT Manager at DXC Technology and prior to that the Global Supply Tax manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He has been TEI´s EMEA Indirect Tax Committee chair for the period 2017- 2018. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International VAT Monitor for which he also regularly publishes articles.
Helen is an accomplished and result-driven professional with extensive experience in leading complex tax technology projects globally, including deploying and analysing VERTEX configuration with different ERP systems. She is mechanically inclined and think extremely logically to deliver need-based technology solutions to mitigate risk and meet local tax needs for complex chain transactions in large multinational companies. Her expertise lies in designing, simplifying, and optimising indirect tax processes to drive business efficiency.
